Minor girl missing from Chandrapur found dead, one held

Chandrapur, Dec. 26: One minor girl who was missing found dead in a semi nude condition near a harvesting field very close to Adarsha School.
Badi Kritanga, the father of the 13-year-old minor girl, said his daughter missing for a couple of days before her body was found on Tuesday. After a thorough search when they failed to know about their daughter’s whereabouts of their daughter they lodged a case in the police station.
Acting on the report police plunged into action and traced out the body near a harvesting field. After that the residents of Chandrapur village resorted to Roadblock protest to nab the culprit.
One scientific team along with the sniffer dog reached the spot and probing to trace out the culprit.
Chandrapur police sent the body for postmortem and after the report available it will be cleared whether the minor girl was and murdered said police.
Addressing a press meet on Tuesday Rayagada Superintendent of police Dr Sarvana Vivek M said that on 23rd December the parents of the missing girl of Adibasi street filed a kidnapping case of their daughter at the Chandrapur police station and police registered a case under section 363 and started investigation and found the dead body of the minor girl near a school.
And after that registering a case under section 302 probed the case and arrested one Seba Bagsingh (19) of Kalima Street Bandri village in this connection. Further SP said that the medical report is awaited and the accused was forwarded to court. The minor girl was a student of the model school.
