Bhubaneswar,JUNE 1: A 2 days long conclave on “ShatabdiraOdisha” was inaugurated at Sankalp Bhawan today. His Excellency the Governor of Odisha, Professor Ganeshi Lal, inaugurated the conclave in presence of Jagadananda, Ex Information officer, Govt of Odisha, Bijay Kumar Pattnaik, Ex Chief Secretary, Govt. Of Odisha and founder of Forum For Smart Citizen, Ashok Das, Founder Sankalp TV Media and other dignitaries.

Inaugurating the Conclave, Hon’ble Governor Professor Ganeshi Lalji said, “We should mix up with the human sentiments not the humans. The State of Odisha is going to complete a hundred years in 2036, we need to give more emphasis on the developmental Excellency for the journey from Utkal to Odisha. Odisha is rich with minerals. If we will properly utilise these minerals then we will have our dream Odishaby the completion of 100 years.”

Speaking on this occasion Bijay Kumar Pattnaik, Ex Chief Secretary, Govt. Of Odisha and founder of Forum for Smart Citizen, emphasised on the issues like social, tourism, Agriculture, Education, Entrepreneurship or Start-ups and how we can create a new history for our state in this 100 years. 

On this occasion a Kitchen Garden competition was organised by Sankalp TV. Prizes and Certificates were distributed to 7 winners of this competition.

The State of Odisha is going to complete a hundred years in 2036. It is necessary to prepare a Vision Document for our beloved State in which we would like to present a picture of Odisha as to where we would like to see her when she completes a century of her formation. It is an aspirational dream which would serve as a beacon to all of us to achieve heights of performance in the remaining years of the century.

The workshop will deliberate on six different themes around which the growth story of our State will be scripted. These are, Agriculture, Education, Social issues such as women empowerment, migration, mal-nutrition, etc., Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Start-ups, and Tourism. The uniqueness of the workshop is that the speakers on the various themes are practitioners in their respective fields (details attached). Their experience and their vision born out of such experience are expected to lend a distinct flavour to the deliberations.
