Bhawanipatna, May 19: A two-year-old child prodigy hailing from Bhawanipatna in Odisha’s Kalahandi district has brought laurels to the state by entering the India Book of Records for his sharp memory skills.

Tejanshu Sekhar Sethi, the wonder kid, has achieved the rare feat of being the fastest to recite names of seven days, 12 months, six seasons, numericals, names of famous persons, various fruits and flowers, animals, birds, insects, vehicles and various symbols.

The kid has registered his name in the India Book of Records as the youngest child with sharp memory skills. He has got a medal and certificate from India Book of Records as recognition for his brilliant memory power.

“I am really proud as Tejanshu’s mother. I had never expected that he would register his name in the India Book of Records at such a tender age. When he got selected for the rare honour, I was on cloud nine. All our family members are also ecstatic over his rare feat,” said Tejanshu’s mother Arati Sethi.

The child prodigy’s father Dhaja Ketan Sethi is working in Bhawanipatna Reserve Police. Tejanshu’s incredible memory power at such a tender age has stunned one and all.

“We had sent all the videos of Tejanshu to India Book of Records. Apart from memory testing, they had also asked a few more questions and Tejanshu answered them all correctly. After a few days, we got a congratulatory message from India Book of Records,” said Dhaja Ketana.

“We are really proud of him. We wish the kid a brilliant future,” he added.
