49 Schools in Malkangiri District Transformed into 5T Schools, Announced by CM Naveen Patnaik

Malkangiri, May 8, 2023: In a significant development for the education sector, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik declared 49 schools in Malkangiri district as 5T schools. The announcement was made today through a video conference held at Malkangiri Adarsh Vidyalaya in Gandhipali, where esteemed dignitaries were present to witness the event.
The virtual ceremony commenced at 5:00 pm, with CM Naveen Patnaik addressing the audience and underscoring the government’s commitment to providing quality education to the students of Odisha. The 5T initiative aims to enhance the overall learning environment, promote accountability, and improve governance in schools.
During the event,Sri. V.K. Pandian, the Secretary of the 5T initiative, engaged in a conversation with Supriya Roy, a student from one of the transformed schools. This interaction served as a platform to understand the perspectives of students and gain insights into their experiences with the newly implemented changes.
Among the distinguished guests attending the ceremony were Smt.Somari Tangul, Chairman of the Zilla Parishad , SDC Chairman Adma Rava, Sri.Vishal Singh, Collector Malkangiri, Chitrakonda MLA Purna Chandra Baka and Miss.Pramila Majhi,DIPRO.
