Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chakradhar Tripathi awarded by Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan

Koraput, May.11: The Central University of Odisha organized a felicitation programme on May 10 to honour Prof. Chakradhar Tripathi, who was felicitated by His Excellency the Governor of Bihar, Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on the occasion of the 42nd Convention of Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan held at Patna on 6-7 May 2023. The programme was organized under the chairmanship of Prof. Sudhendu Mandal, Advisor- Academic & Administration of the University on its campus. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of CUO Prof. Tripathi was awarded the prestigious Acharya Shivpujan Sahay Smruti Award for his valuable contribution towards the promotion of the Hindi language and Literature by His Excellency Governor in the presence of the Chairman of the Conference, Dr. Anil Sulabh and other dignitaries. Two Guest Professors of the University Dr. J.B. Pandey and Dr. Hemraj Meena, were also awarded Acharya Devendra Nath Sharma Award and Raja Radhika Raman Prasad Award respectively. Prof. Mandal felicitated Prof. Chakradhar Tripati, whereas Prof. S. K. Palita felicitated Dr. J. B. Pandey and Prof. N.C. Panda felicitated Dr. Hemraj Meena on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Mandal said that the honor of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chandradhar Tripathi, Dr. J.B. Pandey, and Dr. Hemraj Meena are the honors of the University. This is the day of pride that the three eminent scholars glorify the Central University of Odisha on the soil of Bihar.
Prof. S.K. Palita, Dean, School of Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources said that we are rejoiced and enthused by the Honour of our Vice-Chancellor and two other teachers. Prof. N.C. Panda, Dean School of Languages congratulated them by chanting Mangalacharan and said this is a proud moment for the entire state. Prof. Himanshu Mohapatra said the University community was inspired a lot by the academic excellence of Prof. Tripathi.
Sharing the happy moments, Prof. Tripathi said a man could be found by his circle. His circle influences his life and personality, and future reputation. Therefore, he advised all to live and spend life in a good circle with cultural values and contribute to nation-building. He said, “we have to come together and develop the university with our whole heart and soul, and when we are one more noble, then we will be at the peak of success. He urged the academic community of the University that every department of the University take the lead in the development of Odisha. He announced the University is opening various programmes in Agriculture, Forest Management, and Diary farming at the earliest.
Dr. J.B. Pandey said that pride comes when we feel that we have done something and get respect when the world feels that we have done something important. Dr. Hem Raj Meena expressed his gratitude to the Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan. Dr. Rudrani Mohanty compeered the proceedings, and Dr. Phagunath Bhoi extended the vote of thanks. All teachers and staff Congratulated and conveyed best wishes to Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chakradhar Tripathi, Dr. Hemraj Meena, and Dr. Jangbahadur Pandey.
