Malkangiri, November 21, 2023 – In a momentous event marked by enthusiasm and anticipation, the Sports and Youth Affairs Department of the Odisha Government inaugurated the Integrated Youth Development Program at Malkangiri College. The program, aimed at nurturing the multifaceted talents of the youth, commenced with a vibrant social and cultural phase from November 21, 2023, to November 29, 2023, followed by an exciting sports phase scheduled from December 13, 2023, to December 23, 2023.

The inauguration ceremony, held today, witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. Akshay Kumar Khemundu, Sub Collector of Malkangiri, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr. Khemundu, in his address, encouraged the students to actively participate in the program, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in honing the skills and talents of the young generation.

Block Development Officer ,Malkangiri Prabhati Jhodia took the stage as the main speaker, shedding light on the significance of the Integrated Youth Development Program and its potential to bring about positive changes in the lives of the youth. Mr.Madhav Pangi, District Sports Officer , Malkangiri, was honored as the guest of honor, recognizing his role in promoting sports and physical activities among the youth.

The opening ceremony, hosted by Principal Lingaraj Mishra, began with a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for the engaging events that will unfold during the Integrated Youth Development Program. Dr. Ranjan Kumar Swain, District Nodal Officer , shared insights into the program’s objectives and the anticipated impact on the youth of Malkangiri.

As the event concluded, Mr.Umesh Chandra Raut extended heartfelt gratitude to all participants . The Integrated Youth Development Program is poised to make a lasting impression on the youth of Malkangiri, fostering holistic development and providing a platform for young talent to flourish.
