TPNODL marks International Women’s Day with renewed commitment to inclusive growth and women’s empowerment

Baleshwar, March 9 : TPNODL organized a special program in Baisinga to honour women associated with its diverse CSR initiatives, aligned with this year’s theme “Give to Gain” on International Women’s Day. The event, part of Tata Volunteering Week-25, highlighted women’s empowerment, contribution and collective growth in the community.
Over 600 women beneficiaries from various development projects participated in the event, which featured engaging games, cultural events and exhibition stalls showcasing their skills and commitment to initiatives such as Anokha Dhaga, Adhikaar and serving rural consumers through Mobile Health Units. The event also featured the felicitation of women demonstrating dedication and remarkable service in their respective fields.
Present on the occasion were Mr. Gajanan S. Kale, Chief – Odisha Distribution Business and CEO, TPNODL; Mr. Debadutta Panda, Superintending Engineer, Baripada Electrical Circle; Ms. Madhuchhanda Behera, BPM – Mayurbhanj; and Mr. Ranjan Sharma, Head-CSR, along with regional key stakeholders and officials of TPNODL.
In his address, Mr. Kale praised the strength, resilience, and contributions of women engaged in CSR programs, emphasizing that their empowerment leads to progress for families and society at large. He reaffirmed TPNODL’s commitment to inclusive growth and encouraged participants to support one another and leverage the opportunities created through various CSR initiatives.
Additionally, TPNODL organized Femme Fiesta 3.0 across five electrical circles, reaffirming its commitment to women’s empowerment, awareness and meaningful consumer engagement. The events featured inspiring narratives, captivating performances, and thought-provoking discussions, fostering community involvement and driving positive societal transformation. TPNODL’s initiatives and schemes resonated with attendees, who commended the company’s efforts to drive meaningful change in the region.
