BJP Assam President Dilip Saikia Extends Janmashtami Greetings to people of Assam

Guwahati/Assam , Aug 4 : On the auspicious and sacred occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam Pradesh President Shri Dilip Saikia has extended his heartfelt greetings, warm felicitations and profound good wishes to the people of the entire State.
In his message of greetings, Shri Saikia said, “The divine life of Lord Shri Krishna and the immortal wisdom enshrined in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita have, through the ages, illuminated the path of humanity with the eternal ideals of truth, righteousness, justice, duty and selfless action. The timeless teachings imparted by Shri Krishna,of standing resolutely against injustice and striving for the establishment of Dharma,remain as profoundly relevant to humanity today as they have ever been.”
He further said, “May this sacred festival usher into our society an enduring spirit of peace, harmony, fraternity and spiritual awakening. May the divine blessings of Lord Shri Krishna fill every household of Assam with happiness, prosperity, good health and abiding well-being.”
Shri Saikia also called upon the people to rise above the distinctions of caste, language and community, to further fortify the bonds of unity, mutual goodwill and social harmony, and to renew their collective resolve towards building a peaceful, prosperous and developed Assam. Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to one and all on the sacred occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
