Malkangiri . In a joint operation, the DVF , Police and Excise department cut and destroyed 66 thousand cannabis plants in 44 acres of land in Kurmanur,under the jurisdiction of the Kalimela Police station, Malkangiri.The operation was conducted to disrupt the illegal drug trade and reduce the cultivation of cannabis in the area.This type of significant action on cannabis will make a significant impact on the illegal drug trade in the region. The authorities have vowed to continue their efforts to eradicate illegal drug cultivation and trafficking in the area
