Malkangiri, Odisha – In a bid to raise awareness about the importance of education and the need for better opportunities in rural areas, the Border Security Force (BSF) Malkangiri has sent 22 local boys to Puduchery as a part of their 4th phase awareness program.
The program, which has been running for several years now, aims to provide young boys and girls from rural areas with the opportunity to explore new places and learn new skills. This year, the BSF chose 22 boys and girls from the Malkangiri district to participate in the program, all of whom have been selected based on their academic performance and overall potential.
During their stay in Puduchery, they will be exposed to a variety of educational and cultural activities, including visits to local areas , as well as exposure to various industries and businesses. They will also have the opportunity to meet with local leaders and Cinema Stars and learn about the various opportunities available to them in the region.
Speaking about the program BSF DIG Sailendra Kumar Sinha and officials said, “We believe that by providing young boys and girls from rural areas with the opportunity to explore new places and learn new skills, we can help to raise awareness about the importance of education and the need for better opportunities in rural areas. We are confident that this program will have a positive impact on the lives of the 22 boys and girls who have been selected to participate in it.”
They will stay from 19th to 25th of this month and return to Malkangiri after the completion of their program, and will be expected to share their experiences with their peers and community members, in an effort to inspire others to pursue education and better opportunities.
