CUTTACK,SEPT 23 : The President of the Tinkers’ Club, presented a memorandum to Shri Kanak Bardhan Singhdeo, the Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha , on his recent visit to Cuttack at the Circuit House. While presenting the memorandum, the President was accompanied with Lalatendu Badu the President of the Cuttack City BJP wing, Ms Rashmirekha Das, the Secretary of State Womens’ Wing of BJP, Binode Das and Sritam Das.

In the financial year 2011-12, Sri Sanjay Dasburma was the minister of the Science and Technology Department.  During his tenure, the students of B.Tech and IT were asked through an advertisement by the Government to register their names by depositing Rs 100/- for employment. This was managed by the BPUT as there was no separate IT Department of the Government at that time. Many of the unemployed students have registered their names with the Government for availing job opportunity. Till today the fates of these unfortunate students have not been changed and they were not provided either with a job or any communication.

The second memorandum was about the working of Land Consolidation activity of the ADMs. Mr Das complained about the unusual delay of cases pending in different districts of the state relating to the consolidation of lands. It is a matter of regret that such cases are pending since last 25 years in the department.

The Minister received the Memorandums and assured Mr Das to take due steps immediately and shall provide justice to the aggrieved persons.
