Malkangiri Odisha 14 April: The 132nd Ambedkar Jayanti  was observed with great enthusiasm throughout the district. The event was mainly held at the district headquarters in Malkangiri Bus stand by District Information and Public Relation office.

The event was graced by the presence of Smt. Somari Tangul ,ZP Chairman as the chief guest .The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by garlanding the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution .Various speakers highlighted the importance of Dr. Ambedkar’s contribution to the Indian Constitution and his efforts to uplift the socially and economically backward classes of society.

The chief guest, Smt. Somari Tangul, spoke about the need to uphold Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of equality and social justice. Sri. Ratnakar Sahu, ZP Executive Officer, emphasized the need to continue Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy of social reform and progress.

ADM Maheswar Nayak, who presided over the meeting, expressed his admiration for Dr. Ambedkar’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged sections of society. The chief speaker, Sri. Akshaya Kumar Khemudu,Sub-Collector spoke about Dr. Ambedkar’s life and legacy, and urged everyone to work towards realizing his vision of a just and equal society.

The event was attended by several dignitaries including DIPRO Pramila Majhi, Mathili Tahasildar Chandan Ku.Bhoi, Dy.Collector Dhruba Charan Muduli, Municipality Executive Officer Kanhu Charan  Patnaik, Sri.Prabhakar Hantal, Sri.Ghanshyam Madkami , Sri.Sonu Anugu.

The event was attended by a large number of people, including students, activists, and representatives from various organizations. The organizers of the event expressed their gratitude to all the dignitaries and participants who made the event a success.
