BHUBANESWAR, MAR 13 : CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar has signed an MoU with the Geological Society of India (GSI), Kolkata to work on developing technologies for the recovery of critical minerals from the Indian deposits. The MoU was signed by Dr. Ramanuj Narayan, Director CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar, and Shri D. V. Ganvir, Deputy Director General, GSI in the presence of Shri Janardan Prasad, Director General GSI, Kolkata.

 In the meeting organized at GSI, Kolkata, Dr. Ramanuj Narayan opined that this sort of activity falls into the scope of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative announced by the honorable Prime Minister. Shri. Janardan Prasad expressed his contentment over the recovery of critical & strategic mineral values.
