Malkangiri 17 May,2023 : Art of Giving Day was observed with great fervor and enthusiasm in Malkangiri, as it marked its presence in 18 different locations across the district. The event, organized by the KISS Foundation, aimed to recognize and honor the selfless contributions of individuals who have made a significant difference in the lives of others. A total of 1100 people were felicitated during the event, which was graced by esteemed dignitaries.

The felicitation ceremony took place at various venues, with each location focusing on recognizing the contributions of specific groups. At the SP Office, ASP Balabhadra Deep felicitated surrendered Maoists, Traffic Police, and Home Guards for their tireless efforts in ensuring the safety and security of the district. Their dedication and commitment were acknowledged, motivating them to continue their valuable service.

DNK field witnessed the felicitation of auto drivers , who were recognized for their perseverance and hard work in their respective fields. Their contributions, often overlooked, were celebrated on this occasion, reminding society of the importance of appreciating individuals from all walks of life.

Furthermore, at DHH Malkangiri, supervisors and ambulance drivers were honored for their crucial roles in providing healthcare services to the community. CDMO I/C Dr. Sandhyarani Patnaik and ADMO Siba Prasad Moharana presented the awards, acknowledging the dedication and compassion exhibited by these healthcare professionals.

The Art of Giving Day in Malkangiri not only aimed to recognize individuals but also fostered a sense of unity and gratitude within the community. The event highlighted the significance of selfless acts and encouraged others to contribute positively to society.

Ramya Ranjan Porida, the coordinator of the Kiss Foundation, along with Uttam Sha and Sushant Samal, President of the Art of Giving, played pivotal roles in organizing the event. Dr. Achyuta Samant, the founder of the KISS and KIIT foundation, took the initiative to celebrate this noble cause, and it is worth mentioning that this year marked the successful completion of ten years of the foundation’s efforts.
