‘Article 370’ box office Day 2: Yami Gautam film sees slight growth
MUMBAI,FEB 25 : Yami Gautam and Priya Mani’s ‘Article 370’ has been doing fairly well at the box office. After registering an opening day number of Rs 5.90 crore, the film has now seen a slight growth on its first Saturday.
‘Article 370’ that features Yami Gautam and Priya Mani in the lead, released in theatres on February 23. On its first day, the film managed to collect a decent Rs 5.90 crore. On the second day, i.e., on Saturday, the film witnessed a slight growth at the box office and minted Rs 7.50 crore, according to early estimates. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 13.40 crore.
The film, like its first day, witnessed better occupancy for the night shows. Now, it remains to be seen if the film can reach close to the Rs 25 crore mark by the first weekend.
‘Article 370’ has been directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, a two-time recipient of the National Award. It centres on the anti-terrorism operations in Kashmir after Article 370 was abrogated.
