Best Academic Performance Award 2022 presented by Rourkela Steel Plant to 17 toppers of Rourkela

Rourkela, Sept 6: In the grand function held at Civic Centre to mark Teachers Day, Mr. Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) presented the ‘Best Academic Performance Award 2022’, to 17 top students of Rourkela. Present on the occasion were Mr. S R Suryawanshi, ED(Works), Mr. P K Satapathy, ED (P&A), Mr. P K Sahoo, ED (Projects), Mr. Somnath Tripathy, ED(MM), many other senior officers of RSP, large number of teachers and students of Rourkela. The award comprised prize money of Rs. 10,000/- and a certificate of merit.
Krishna Panda was felicitated for being the State Topper in ICSE Board. Among other toppers in Class-10 board examination were Saisrita Jena of Saraswati Vidya Mandir of Board of Secondary Education (Odisha), Shristi Bose and Dibyajyoti Baisnabi from St. Joseph’s Convent and Malaya Kumar Dhal of Chinmay Vidyalaya English Medium School from ICSE Board and Satish Kumar Mohanty, and Subhranil Das of Deepika English Medium School, Sector – 5 from CBSE board.
The Class – 12 toppers in Science Stream from CHSE, CBSE, ISC and ICSE Board were Aditya Senpati of Ispat Vidyamandir, Sector – 19, Yashvi Parmar of Delhi Public School and Lalitendu Jagajyoti Mishra of Chinmay English Medium School, Chend.
The awards winners in the Arts stream were Arati Kujur of Government Higher Secondary School, Rourkela, Aakrishie Chaawla of Delhi Public School and Suhana Sanskriti and Monamee Das of Carmel School, Hamirpur Rourkela.
In the Commerce Stream the recipients of the awards were Saket Suman Singh of Government Higher Secondary School, Rourkela, Khushi Jaiswal of Delhi Public School and Sreya Chandrakar of Chinmaya English Medium School, Chend.
The award distribution was facilitated by Mr.Ashish Udgata, Manager (TS – Education).
