Bharat Jodo Yatra: In one day, Rahul Gandhi visits mutt, mosque, church
KARNATAK,OCT 3 : As Bharat Jodo Yatra entered the 26th day, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited a mutt, a mosque and a church in a single day. Rahul Gandhi visited Suttur Mutt in Mysore and met the Seer Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Swamiji during his ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra.
The Wayanad MP paid a visit to Masjid-e-Azam in Mysore during the Karnataka leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
The yatra entered day four in the southern district of Karnataka on Monday. He also visited Saint Philomena’s church in the city.
Congress said that Rahul Gandhi interacted with women weavers of Khadi Gramodyog where workers raised concerns related to wage hike along with better supply chain, infrastructure and machinery.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi arrived in Mysuru on Monday afternoon for the party’s ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra in Karnataka. She will participate in the Yatra on Thursday morning when it resumes after a two-day break. Sonia Gandhi would stay in a private resort at Madkeri in Coorg.

Rahul Gandhi will finish today’s stretch of Yatra and will fly to Madkeri to meet Sonia Gandhi. It will be after a long time that Sonia Gandhi will participate in the party’s public event where a large number of Congress workers are participating.
On Sunday, RaGa offered prayers at Srikanteshwara Swamy Temple, Nanjangud, Karnataka. He also addressed hundreds of people amid heavy rains and asserted that nothing can “stop us to unite the country” through the yatra.
As the Wayanad MP chose to continue his speech, the crowds cheered for him, even as many were seen holding up chairs to ward off the torrential rain.
