BJP MLA Hira Solanki saves 3 youths from drowning in sea in Gujarat
Gujarat ,June 1: BJP MLA from Gujarat’s Rajula Hira Solanki on Wednesday saved three youths from drowning in the sea near Patwa village. One youth who had also gone to bathe in the sea with the three others was found dead.
The four youths – Kalpesh Shiyal, Vijay Gujaria, Nikul Gujaria, and Jeevan Gujaria – had gone to bathe in a creek on the sea shore near Patwa village in Rajula on Wednesday afternoon.
However, due to a strong current in the sea and intense waves, the four young people drifted toward the deep water. As they began drowning, the youth started screaming for help, which caught the attention of people nearby.

Local people rushed to the spot to help the drowning youths. BJP MLA Solanki was at the beach when the incident occurred, and jumped into the water to save the youth.
Three out of the four youths were rescued; the fourth, Jeevan Gujaria, died due to drowning. His body was found in the evening.
