Rayagada: Collector Saroj Mishra launches Pirmal Foundation’s ‘Surakshit Hum, Surakshit Tum’ programme to address Cov-19 crisis

Rayagada, June 26: Pirmal Foundation’s ‘Surakshit Hum, Surakshit Tum’ programme was launched on Friday in Rayagada by district Collector Saroj Kumar Mishra.
Sponsored by Niti Nayog, the programmes aim at collaborative support to the state government agencies to address the Covid-19 situations.
In his inaugural address, Ex Army Officer Mr Puneet Naithani explained how the Piramal Foundation’s programme has had an impact on other states. He highlighted their flagship jobs that education and health are the main goals of our Foundation.
“Our associated volunteers mostly focus those who live in the home quarantine. They distribute medicines, N-95 masks, sanitizer and other kits. Besides, we deliver oxygen concentrates to people in emergency conditions,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Rayagada collector Mr Mishra said he would ensure all-around development the district and facilitate all that are required for the people.
“We have been trying to reach out every people who need our support. This district is close to my heart as I began my service career from here,” said the Collector.
During the discuss NRHM DPM Sri Rajeswara Pattnaik said the organization will provide all the support required by Piramal Foundation.
