Malkangiri Odisha,14th January,2024:- DHH Malkangiri in Odisha has achieved National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification at the national level from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, for the year 2024. Dr.Prafulla Ku. Nanda, Chief District Medical Officer , announced that the certification was awarded after a thorough survey conducted by a team led by Dr. Josua Abhisekh, Dr. V.K. Sharma and Dr. Sisir Naskar from July 24th to 26th, 2023. The survey comprehensively assessed 19 departments of DHH Malkangiri.

CDMO Nanda expressed satisfaction with the outcome, emphasizing that the certification will enable the medical facility to receive increased funding and better infrastructure . This recognition highlights the hospital’s commitment to maintain high-quality standards in healthcare services.
The certification not only acknowledges the efforts of the healthcare professionals at DHH Malkangiri but also positions the facility to better serve the health needs of the community in the coming year.
