District Congress Committee launches “Jay Bharat Abhiyan” campaign in Malkangiri

Malkangiri Odisha 25 April: In a show of solidarity, the Congress party organized a demonstration in front of the Collectorate Malkangiri on Tuesday as part of the Jay Bharat Abhiyan. The rally was led by District President Sri Gobinda Patra and was attended by state leaders like State Student President Yashir Nawaz, ST Cell State President Sri Bhujabal Majhi, Sri Ranjit Patra, and Sri.Prakash Mishra alongwith prominent leaders of the district including Sri.Sarat Chandra Buruda,Sri.Mala Madhi and Sri.G Srinivas Rao.
During the demonstration, the Congress leaders spoke out against the state government, accusing them of oppressing Sambhidhan and killing democracy. They also highlighted the neglect of Malkangiri in terms of education and increasing unemployment, blaming the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for the situation.
Speaking to reporters, Sri Yashir Nawaz expressed his concerns over the lack of development in Malkangiri district and said that the people have suffered immensely due to the government’s neglect. He further stated that the unemployment rate in the district has been skyrocketing, and the youth are struggling to find employment opportunities.
The demonstrators also accused the government of ignoring the education sector in the district, which has resulted in poor literacy rates and a lack of quality education facilities. They demanded that the government take immediate action to address these issues and work towards improving the overall development of the district.
The leaders further stated that the BJD has been ruling Odisha for 22 years now and has failed to address the issues faced by the people of Malkangiri. They urged the state government to take immediate action to improve the situation and provide better opportunities for the residents of the district.
The “Jay Bharat Abhiyan” campaign is expected to continue in the coming days, with more demonstrations and rallies planned across Malkangiri district. The District Congress Committee hopes that their efforts will bring attention to the issues faced by the people of Malkangiri and force the government to take corrective action.
