Malkangiri,27th Jan,2024:-Malkangiri bid an emotional farewell to District Collector Vishal Singh at the Zilla Parishad conference Hall . The event saw the presence of prominent officials, including Suptd. of Police Nitesh Wadhwani and Divisional Forest Officer Pratap Kotapalli.

During his tenure, Singh played a pivotal role in overseeing numerous developmental projects, including airport initiatives. Colleagues praised his efficient and compassionate leadership style, emphasizing his rarity as an Indian Administrative Service officer. Singh expressed gratitude for the cooperation he received and urged employees to continue performing at their best.

Singh, who initially served as District Magistrate in Malkangiri, will now take on the role of District Magistrate in Keonjhar. 2019 batch IAS officer and Kalahandi District Zilla Parishad Development Officer Mr. Pawar Sachin Prakash, will assume the position of Malkangiri District Collector.

The occasion witnessed the attendance of district officers including Block Development Officers, and Tahsildars, marking a moment of reflection and transition for the district.
