New Delhi, April 12: “There’s a lot of interest in India’s growth story,” said Mr Subhrakant Panda, President, FICCI and Managing Director of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA) after a roundtable on “Investing in the India Decade” attended by Union Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman. “When it comes to any large corporation looking at growth, it’s impossible to do so without having a presence in India”, he added.
In his remarks, Mr Panda highlighted the ease of doing business, infrastructure development, and various reforms undertaken by the Government to promote inclusive, resilient, and sustainable growth in India.
The roundtable was organised by FICCI and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum on the sidelines of the Spring Meeting of the IMF in Washington DC. Senior business leaders across industrial sectors attended the roundtable.
