Odisha bags best pavilion Award

Dhamra, Oct.22 : Global Maritime India Summit 2023 (GMIS) has been conducted at Mumbai from 17 to 19 October where Odisha got the best pavilion award in the small category. Odisha state transport minister Smt Tukuni Sahu has received the award on behalf of state Govt. By getting this award minister Smt Sahu gave all the credit to the Chief Minister and thanked all. The youngest maritime board in India is making waves, showcasing its dedication and opportunities nationwide.
The GMIS 2023 highlighted the opportunities in India’s cruise sector while bringing to light the Government’s commitment to developing the cruise sector with measures including the creation of cruise terminal infrastructure, incentivisation with relaxation in taxes, institutional capacity building with training academies dedicated to cruise, and an attractive and stable regularity policy framework in line with international standards inviting international players to set up their base in India.
The summit is also attended by Global CEOs, Business leaders, Investors, Officials and other stakeholders from across the world. Further, several Indian states will also be represented in the summit by the Ministers and other dignitaries. More than 200 pavilions have been installed and the Imagery organisation has made this stall.
