‘AASTHA’ Hospital Opens its 1st Multi-Specialty Centre in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Sept. 18: Aastha hospital unveiled its first Multi-Specialty Centre at Soubhgya Nagar, Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
An unit of Aastha Foundation, it’s a 25-beded Multi-Specialty hospital that facilitates OPD consultation in various disciplines like Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatric, Dermatology and Neuro Medicine departments. Besides the hospital is having IPD, OT, ICU, in-house Pathology center and facilities for patients requiring Rehabilitation treatments. It has also plan to set-up Radiology diagnostic tests inside the hospital in near future.
“This is a welcome step by the Founder of Aastha, which will cater to the localities of Soubhagya Nagar, Satabdi Nagar, Baramunda, Jagamara and nearby areas”, Chief Guest Corporator Mrs. Binayini Jena said while inaugurating the event.
The founder Mrs Suchitra Mohapatra said, “We have a vision to give affordable Healthcare Services to the people of Odisha. The hospital will not only provide healthcare services at the Centre, but also doorstep services where required especially for Geriatric patients. It has also an aim to expand its footprints across key districts through Out-reach-Centers (ORC) in coming days.
Eminent doctors such as Gynecologists, Neuro-Surgeons, Neuro-Medicine Specialists, Dertmatologists, Medicine Specialists besides NGO workers, Social Activists participated in the event and share their thoughts regarding the challenges in healthcare sector in Odisha and how to overcome them for better and affordable patient care.
An Asha-Karmi meet was also organized in the sidelines of this meet.
