Bhubaneswar, March 10: Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), the country’s leading producer of ferro alloys, today announced the appointment of Saunak Gupta as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) consequent to the retirement of Prem Khandelwal as CFO & Company Secretary after a distinguished tenure of two decades.

Mr. Gupta is a qualified CharteredAccountant, Company Secretary and Cost Accountant who has worked in diverse industries such as Blue Star, Wipro, Berger Paints and PwC in a career spanning 26 years. He has handled multiple assignments including mergers & acquisitions, strategic tie-ups, and managing treasury and financial planning for business growth. He joined IMFA as Deputy CFO in 2023 and demonstrably contributed to the Company’s objectives before being elevated as CFO.

Commenting on the appointment, Subhrakant Panda, Managing Director said: “In a short span of time Saunak has made his presence felt in not just the finance function but by also helping shapeIMFA’s strategic priorities, and I am sure he will contribute significantly to the company’s growth trajectory.
