Nuapada, Oct. 29 : Independent Candidate Bhakta Bandhu Dharua launched his campaign for the upcoming Nuapada bye-election on Monday with prayers at the Sitala Mandir at Dumerdihi under Nuapada block in the District.

Accompanied by senior leaders, the General Secretary of Adiwasi Kalyan Sangh & the Independent Candidate B.B.Dharua sought the blessings of the Goddess before addressing his first campaign meeting. He said, he has always worked for selfless service and public welfare.

Addressing the gathering, he accused the BJP of failing to fulfill the aspirations of the people and neglecting essential infrastructure, welfare schemes, and development initiatives. By writing on post card, he requested the people to cast vote for him.
