Angul, Dec 19: The inter-departmental ladies cricket tournament organized by Jindal Officer Club (JOC) of Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) concluded last evening under flood-light. In the final match Dare Devils Ladies comprising players from the Security department defeated Jindal Mahila Samiti (JMS) in a spectacular match by 9 wickets. Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, Chief Executive Officer of JSP’s Steel Business graced the final match of the tournament as Chief-Guest and presented the trophies in presence of Mr. Hridayeshwar Jha, Executive Director In-Charge; Mrs. Sujata Saraogi, Mrs. Anita Mittal and other dignitaries.

After winning the toss, team Dare Devil asked team Jindal Mahila Samiti to bat first and as a result of which team JMS managed to make only 38 runs in the stipulated 10 overs by losing their 4 wickets.

Chasing the target of 39 to win the final, Dare Devils made it only in 6.3 overs by losing only 1wicket and turned-up as the Champion of the tournament.

Haripriya Nayak was declared Player of the match for picking 3 wickets in 3 overs by giving only 7 runs.
