Bhubaneswar, Dec 5: JSW pavilion at MIO conclave, was the most popular among the youth specially children. Over the four days, students from Skilled in Odisha & various other technical institutions from various domains such as Civil, Mechanical, Electronic and Engineering visited the pavilion to appreciate JSW presence and expansion plans in Odisha.

Students and faculty members from Premier academic institutions like College of Engineering and Technology (CET), World Skill Centre, XIM, etc visited the stall in large numbers.

Sports is the key mandate for JSW. In Odisha, JSW is Identifying sport talents and providing them with the right platform to pursue their game of choice. The HPC (High Performance Centre) for swimming at the premier Kaling stadium and promotion of football in its mining DIZ among the underprivileged children are the notable steps the company has taken.

In future the company has plans to set-up more such sports facilities in Odisha.

Around 20 underprivileged children (Football) from Ardor football academy, Bhubaneswar visited the stall and experienced the anamorphic feature and virtual reality centre at JSW pavilion. They received footballs and jerseys from JSW Foundation team.

Promoting sports among young children and offering them the platform have always been a keen interest of JSW. The company took initiative to support the underprivileged kids to hone their football skills.

Notably, JSW Sports and Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) setup by JSW group has been grooming talents across multiple Olympic sports in India since last few years. JSW as a group has sponsored the Indian Olympic contingent for the Tokyo Olympics as well.  On the concluding day of MIO, JSW witnessed a huge youth engagement and participation at the pavilion.

Earlier at the Beginning of Make In Odisha, Mr Sajjan Jindal, Chairman, JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal announced that JSW Group is committed to invest Rs 1 trillion in Odisha in various sectors. Speaking at the ‘Make in Odisha’ conclave, Chairman said that “in the last edition of ‘Make in Odisha’, we had committed to invest Rs 60,000 crore in Odisha, of which Rs 30,000 crore has already been invested and rest of the projects are underway.”

On the concluding day of MIO, JSW witnessed a huge youth engagement and participation at the pavilion.
