Malkangiri, Odisha – The District Level Malayabanta Mohatshav 2022 was inaugurated on Sunday by the Minister of Steel and Mines, work Shri Prafulla Kumar Mallick, in the presence of several dignitaries .
The event began with a procession in the morning, where people from all over the district participated with great enthusiasm. The procession included  Kalasa yatra ,cultural performances and traditional dances.


The Minister, while addressing the gathering, said that the event is a celebration of the rich culture and traditions of the district and it is an opportunity to showcase the talents of the local people.The govt. of odisha is focussing more for the development of Malkangiri and several new projects lauched from Malkangiri District. He also highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the region.

The Collector Malkangiri, in his speech, praised the efforts of the organizers and expressed his gratitude to the participants for making the event a success. He also urged the people to come forward and participate in such events to promote the rich cultural heritage of the district.


The dignitaries present on the event were Collector Malkangiri Shri Vishal Singh ,  Nabarangpur  MP Sri.Ramesh  Chandra Majhi ,Advisor of Special Development Council (SDC) Sri.Pradeep Majhi, Chitrakonda MLA Sri.Purna Chandra Baka, Zilla Porishad Chairman Smt.Samira Tangul ,President of SDC Sri.Adma Rava, Suptd.of Police Sri.Nitesh Wadwani and Chief Development Officer Cum Executive ,Zilla Porishad Malkangiri  Sri.Ratnakar Sahu, inaugurated “Saptadhara” Souvenir and  expressed their appreciation for the event and praised the efforts of the organizers.

The event was a great success, and it was attended by thousands of people from all over the district. It was a celebration of the rich culture and traditions of the region and an opportunity for the local people to showcase their talents.
