Malkangiri gears up for MSME week to promote entrepreneurship and economic growth

Malkangiri, Odisha: The District Industries Centre (DIC) MD Tarunakanti Mohanty , in a press meet held on Friday, announced the observance of the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) week from 5th to 9th March. The event aims to provide loans to local entrepreneurs and promote the growth of MSMEs in the region.
The MSME Week aims to provide a platform for the small business owners and entrepreneurs to showcase their products, network with other businesses, and learn from industry experts. It also aims to create awareness about the various schemes and initiatives of the government that are designed to support and promote the growth of MSMEs.
According to the DIC head, the planning is to provide loans to 104 beneficiaries during the MSME week, out of which 61 have already received the loans. The event witnessed the presence of eminent personalities Dipro Pramila Majhi, IPO Subhasree Dandpat and Sri. Suresh Somani President Chamber of Commerce.
The MSME week is a great opportunity for local entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and receive financial support from the government. The event is expected to boost the growth of MSMEs in the region, creating more job opportunities and contributing to the economic development of Malkangiri.
