Malkangiri, 19th August 2025 :
World Photography Day was celebrated with enthusiasm by the video journalists of Malkangiri district today. To mark the occasion, the journalists gathered at the Children’s Park in Malkangiri and cut a cake, highlighting the importance of photography and videography in modern journalism.

The event was attended by several video journalists including Bikram Padhy, Janaki Patnaik, Manas Netam, Rahul, Pintu, Bitu, Pankaj, and Swadhin. They shared their experiences of working in the field and spoke about the challenges and responsibilities of documenting stories through visuals.

Speaking on the occasion, the journalists emphasized that photography is not just about capturing images but also about telling powerful stories that create awareness and preserve history. They reiterated their commitment to serving society by presenting truthful and impactful visual narratives.

The celebration ended with a message of unity and dedication towards the profession.
