Malkangiri Odisha :Malkangiri Police have made a major breakthrough in their fight against Maoists operating in the Andhra Odisha Border region. In a joint operation, the security forces recovered a large explosive dump belonging to the Maoists.

According to SP Malkangiri Nitesh Wadwani , the explosive cache included 6 tiffin boxes with explosives,2 walkie-talkies, 50 kg of Cordex wire and other electronic articles  . The dump was discovered in the Kusumput jungle area, a known stronghold of Maoist activity.

The recovery of the explosive dump has come as a big blow to the Maoists, who have been trying to spread terror in the area. The police have been working tirelessly to curb their activities, and this recovery is a major victory in that regard.

The Malkangiri Police have been conducting frequent operations in the region to keep a check on the Maoists’ activities, and this recovery is a testament to their continued efforts. The security forces are expected to intensify their operations in the coming days to flush out the Maoists from the region.
