Boudh, Sept. 1: Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, Forest & Environment and Information & Public Relations, Pradip Kumar Amat on Thursday greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai, also known as Nuankhai.

The minister said Nuankhai is an occasion to celebrate Odisha’s great cultural ethos and glorious agrarian activities.

In the morning, the minister offered prayers to Maa Samaleswari and interacted with people coming from various parts of Boudh and other districts.

Later, the minister had Nuankhai feast with family members, relatives and well-wishers.
