New Education Complex Inaugurated in Swabhiman Region by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik

Malkangiri,14th March,2024 :-In a significant stride towards enhancing educational accessibility and quality in the Swabiman region of Malkangiri district, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik inaugurated an Education Complex at Badapada today via video conferencing. With an investment of 19 crores, the modern educational edifice sprawls over 7 acres of land, offering comprehensive education from primary to higher secondary levels under one roof.
The Education Complex boasts state-of-the-art facilities including smart classrooms, an e-library with 3000 books, NCC rooms, a computer lab, science laboratories, dormitories accommodating over 1000 students, amphitheaters, sports courts, open gymnasiums, and eco-friendly features like solar lighting and water supply systems.
Expressing his dedication to the region, Chief Minister Patnaik emphasized Malkangiri’s importance in his developmental initiatives. He lauded the launch of the Badpada Education Complex, envisioning it as a catalyst for the holistic development and empowerment of local children. Encouraging discipline and hard work, he urged students to utilize the facilities to nurture their talents and bring glory to their families and communities.
Highlighting the success of initiatives like the One Rupee Rice scheme and Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, the Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to the welfare of Malkangiri residents. He commended the performance of SC and ST children in diverse fields, attributing it to enhanced educational opportunities.
Promising further development, the Chief Minister announced plans for a skill development center in the Swabiman region to bolster employment prospects for local youth. He credited the success of programs like LaccMi Yojana to the concerted efforts of the government and local authorities.
Praising the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Malkangiri Zilla Parishad President Mrs. Samari Tangulu echoed sentiments of appreciation for the transformative impact of the Education Complex. The event also witnessed a warm welcome speech by Malkangiri District Collector Sachin Pawar, underscoring the collective commitment to educational advancement in the region.
