New-O and Yuva Odisha Programs Wrap Up in Malkangiri, Reflecting the Success of Naveen Odisha’s Vision

Malkangiri, Odisha ,3rd January 2024 – The month-long New-O, Yuv Odisha, Naveen Odisha program, aimed at fostering the spirit of sports, art, literature, culture, and social service among the youth, concluded today at the local sports complex in Malkangiri district. The event saw a grand gathering of enthusiastic students, dignitaries, and talented performers.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri.Tusarkanti Behera, the Minister of Youth Services and Sports, IT, and Home Department, who hailed the initiative as a groundbreaking effort by Hon’ble Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Behera emphasized that the youth are the philanthropists of New Odisha, expressing his confidence that through culture, sports, and social service, the youth will play a pivotal role in building a new, developed, and complete Odisha.
The stage was graced by other eminent personalities, including Revenue and Public Education Minister Sudam Marandi, Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Chandra Majhi, Special Development Council Adviser Pradeep Majhi, Chitrakonda MLA Purna chandra Baka, Zilla Porishad Chairman Samari Tangul, SDC Chairperson Adma Raba, District Collector Vishal Singh, and SP Nitesh Wadhwani.
The event showcased the message of 5T and Naveen Odisha Chairman VK Pandian. The students who excelled in various competitions were felicitated with cash prizes and trophies. Approximately 14 thousand students from 32 colleges in the district actively participated in this transformative program.
Adding an entertainment quotient to the event, renowned personalities like Hollywood singer Kuldeep Patnaik, Indian Idol contestant Rahan Vishwal, Harihar Das Dance group, and Rapper Kalki were invited, leaving the audience captivated with their performances. The students thoroughly enjoyed the dance and music, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
The meticulous organization of the program was under the supervision of Zilla Porishad Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Ratnakar Sahu. Additional District Magistrate Trinath Majhi, ADM Vedabar Pradhan, Sub-Collector Dr. Akshay Kumar Khemundu, District Sports Officer Madhav Pangi, and all the staff , officials of the district administration played a crucial role in ensuring the success of this monumental event.
The conclusion of the New-O and Yuv Odisha, Naveen Odisha program marks a significant milestone in empowering the youth and fostering a sense of pride and responsibility towards the development of Odisha.
