New police camp established in naxal hotbed near Tulsi village to bolster security

Odisha Malkangiri 23 April : In a significant development in the fight against Naxalism in Odisha, the Odisha Police and the Border Security Force (BSF) have jointly established a new camp near Tulsi village under Mathilili police station limits. This new camp has been set up in a difficult terrain area, which has no road access facilities and has been mostly affected by Naxalism for a long time.
The new camp was established in the presence of DIG BSF Shri SK Sinha and SP Malkangiri Nitesh Wadwani. The officials stated that the new camp would help in increasing the vigilance and surveillance in the area, which would further strengthen the security forces’ efforts against the Naxal movement.
