Balangir: On January 27, 60 students from the Town Girls High School, Balangir, embarked on an enlightening journey with Environmental Education Programme by Balangir Forest Division.

The day was filled with visit to the zoo, temple and nature walk along the forest roads.

During the walk, forest officials shared knowledge about various trees, characteristics and medicinal values, as well as wildlife food habits.

The presence of Headmaster Sri Narendra Mishra, Range Officer Sri Arabinda Naik; Sri Sunil Kumar Mishra, Deputy Ranger, Sri Ranjit Kumbhar, Forester, Sri Mahendra Kalsai, Forest Guard and other forest officials added immense value.

In fact, it was a day of learning and discovering for those young minds.
