Malkangiri ,Odisha ,29 January 2025 : The 4th Annual Function of SSD Girl’s High School, Kalimela, was observed with great enthusiasm today. The event was graced by Malkangiri MLA Narsingh Madkami as the chief guest, who reiterated the commitment of the Mohan Majhi-led Odisha government towards the state’s holistic development.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Madkami emphasized that the state government has prepared the Vision Document for Viksit Odisha@2036 for Viksit Bharat @2047 to transform Odisha into a developed state by the time it completes 100 years of its formation. He stated that this vision aims to ensure inclusive development, where even the last person in society actively participates.

Speaking on the occasion, school headmistress Banani Mahapatra highlighted the achievements of SSD Girl’s High School over the past year. She praised the students and teachers for their dedication and commitment to academic excellence and co-curricular activities.
Noted academician Dr. Kishor Kumar Dash, who was also present at the function, urged teachers to focus on Activity-Based Learning to enhance the skill development of students. He emphasized that interactive and experiential learning methods are essential for preparing students for future challenges.
The event was presided over by District Welfare Officer A. Srinivas Achary, who appreciated the efforts of the school in fostering quality education. Among the dignitaries present were Podia BDO Aswini Kumar Mahapatra, ADWO Sumant Majhi, and Podia Welfare Officer Jyoti Prakash Behera, who also shared their insights on the importance of education and skill development.
The function witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents, making it a memorable occasion celebrating academic progress and the vision for a developed Odisha.
