Bhubaneswar, Feb. 6: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Thursday launched the Ama Sathi Unified WhatsApp Bot to make revenue services more accessible and citizen-friendly. The digital platform, unveiled at Lok Seva Bhavan here, enables people to access a range of revenue-related services through WhatsApp, reducing the need for repeated visits to tehsil offices.

Citizens can use the services by sending a message to the dedicated WhatsApp number 9437292000.

Speaking at the launch, Majhi said the initiative is aimed at simplifying public service delivery and saving citizens’ time by bringing government services closer to their homes. He noted that the digital platform would help ease long-standing difficulties faced by people in resolving land and revenue matters.

“People often suffered while running between courts, tehsils and lawyers to address complicated land-related issues. This digital platform will allow citizens to access services from anywhere, saving both time and effort. It is a step toward fulfilling the long-standing expectations of the people,” the Chief Minister said.

On the occasion, Majhi also inaugurated 57 sub-registrar offices across the state, a move expected to strengthen administrative infrastructure and improve access to registration services.
