Cuttack, Jan. 13: Veteran social worker Padmashree D Prakash Rao supported many underprivileged children to pursue their education by providing them financial assistance passed away on Wednesday at a SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.

According to SCB Medical College and Hospital superintendent Dr Bhubanananda Moharana, Rao passed away at 4.15 pm.

He was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 for the past 20 days.
