Aamir Khan visits ‘Dangal’ co-star Suhani Bhatnagar’s house, offers condolences
NEW DELHI,FEB 25 : Aamir Khan recently visited his ‘Dangal’ co-star Suhani Bhatnagar’s house in Faridabad. Suhani, who played the role of Junior Babita Phogat in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Dangal’, died on February 16 at the age of 19. A picture of Aamir Khan paying his tribute to the late actor has gone viral.
Suhani was admitted to AIIMS, where tests revealed that she had dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease. She died on February 16. A few days after her tragic demise, Aamir Khan visited the late actor’s house and paid tribute.
Khan, who was deeply affected by the tragic news, met Suhani’s parents and relatives. He enquired about her illness and expressed his condolences. Suhani’s uncle, Navneet Bhatnagar, confirmed Aamir Khan’s visit to NDTV, highlighting the actor’s genuine concern for the family during this difficult time. A picture of the actor with Suhani’s parents at their Faridabad house has emerged online.
A note posted by them on Instagram read, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani.” The note ended with, “Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts May you rest in peace (sic).”
Suhani became a household name after playing young Babita Kumari Phogat in the 2016 film, ‘Dangal’. She shared screen space with Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and Zaira Wasim. She was also a part of a few commercials.
