Rotarian Kishore Chowdhury Donates Hearse Van (Swarga Ratha) in Memory of Father

Malkangiri,9 September,2023:- In a heartfelt gesture, prominent Jeypur businessman Rotarian Kishore Chowdhury donated a Hearse Van, known as “Swarga Ratha,” to the Malkangiri District Chamber of Commerce Association today. The special handover program, held at the local Town Hall, was attended by distinguished dignitaries and members of the community.
The Hearse Van, a symbol of compassion and service during difficult times, was generously contributed by Mr. Kishore Chowdhury in memory of his late father, Sri.Ratnala Lakshmi Narayana. This act of philanthropy aims to provide a dignified and essential service to the residents of Malkangiri Municipality area.
The event witnessed the presence of notable figures, including Malkangiri District Chamber of Commerce President Sri Suresh Somani, Secretary Sri Eswar Prasad Patnaik, Rotary Club Malkangiri President G.Shyambabu Dora, Secretary A. Iswar Rao, Jeypore Senior Citizen Association President Sri M. K. Das, Swarga Ratha Trust, Jeypore Secretary Sri Pratap Patnaik, and the Chief Speaker for the meeting, Sri Sashi Bhusan Patnaik.
Rotarian Kishore Chowdhury, in his address, shared the heartfelt motivation behind his initiative to construct these special chariots in memory of his father. He expressed his commitment to extending this noble gesture to various districts, ensuring that those in need receive the care and support they deserve during challenging times.
