Ministry of Railway fulfills demands of Utkal Alumina and Public

Tikiri (Odisha), July 2: A long-standing request by people of Tikiri led by Utkal Alumina, for the stoppage of Train No. 18005/06, the Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express, at Tikiri Station in Odisha’s Rayagada district has been fulfilled by the ministry of railways.
In the light of their decision, Utkal Alumina along with the Public of Tikiri applauds East Coast Railways Zone, and Waltair Division for their noble decision.
The announcement of the stoppage, as per Letter No. 2023/CHG/13/13-Part (8) of the ministry of railways, marks a significant milestone in enhancing connectivity and convenience for the residents of Tikiri. This initiative will not only benefit the local community but also streamline the transportation needs of Utkal Alumina's dedicated workforce, promoting efficiency and productivity.By providing a halt at Tikiri Station, the Ministry of Railways, East Coast Railways Zone, and Waltair Division have demonstrated their commitment to the welfare
