Sea beach cleaning drive at Paradeep by AM/NS Ports

Paradeep, Sep 28 : AM/NS Portsorganised an extensive beach cleaning drive at Paradeep Sea Beachin collaboration with the local municipality, as part of its CSR initiative. The drive aimed to promote cleanliness, support environmental sustainability, and preserve the natural beauty of Paradeep Sea Beach.
Given the vast stretch of the coastline, the company strategically focused on the most crowded sections of the beach to maximize impact. Around 60 employees of AM/NS Ports, along with their family members, municipal officials, and local councillors, actively participated in the drive, removing waste and helping restore the beach to its pristine condition. Over 150 kg of waste was collected and handed over to the municipality team.
The event was graced by Shri Basant Biswal, Chairman, Paradeep Municipality, Smt. Kabita Sahoo, Councillor, Ward No. 3, Shri Ananta Subudhi Ray, Head, Procurement, AM/NS Ports and Shri Prasanta Behera, Head, Finance, AM/NS Ports.
AM/NS Ports plans to continue such initiatives in the future, engaging community stakeholders to ensure sustained efforts. The company remains committed to fostering a clean, green, and safe environment. A cleaner beach not only enhances the experience for visitors seeking respite but also attracts more tourists, positively impacting the local economy.
