Soulful tribute to Nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar at DAV, Kalinga Nagar

Bhubaneswar, Feb.17 : DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar paid a soulful tribute to the legendary singer Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar on 11th day of her last rites.In the progrmme observed to mark the occasion, Principal of the school Sri Bipin Kumar Sahoo, all the supervisors and teachers offered their floral tribute to the iconic figure of Indian music.
In his address to the gathering, the Principal highlighted the unparallel contributions of Lata Mangeshkar to the field of music in general and Indian music in particular. He further said that the empress of musical world shall continue to rule the over the hearts of thousands and millions of music lovers all over the world till eternity.
The other activities organized to mark the occasion includes display of a biopic showcasing the rise to excellence by the accomplished architect of music and a musical rendition by the teachers comprising of Lata Mangeshkar’s evergreen songs. The entire programme was arranged successfully with full respect to COVID-19 protocols by the whole-hearted support of all the staff.
