Sub-Collector Recognized for Exceptional Voter Education Efforts on National Voters Day

MALKANGIRI, ODISHA : On the eve of National Voters Day, the sub-collector cum ERO Sri.Akshaya Kumar Khemudu was honored with an award for his efforts in “Voter education and Electoral participation” by His Excellency the Governor of Odisha Prof.Ganeshi Lal at Rabindra Mandap ,Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The award was given in recognition of the sub-collector’s efforts to ensure that as many eligible voters as possible were registered and educated about the importance of participating in the democratic process.
Additionally, an Asst. Teacher Sri.Sama Podiami fromTumsapalli Ashram School was also recognized for his efforts in encouraging maximum inclusion of 18-19 age group registration. The teacher’s innovative and engaging approach to voter education is believed to have played a significant role in increasing the number of young voters in the area.
Speaking at the award ceremony, the sub-collector and the assistant teacher both emphasized the importance of voter education and participation in a democracy. They encouraged all eligible citizens to register to vote and to exercise their right to participate in the democratic process.
The award ceremony was attended by Sri.Sushil Kumar Lohani CEO and Ex-Offcio Principal Secretary to Govt. ,Collector Khorda Sri.K.Sudarshan Chakrabarty , dignitaries from the state government and members of the public. The sub-collector expressed their gratitude for the award and pledged to continue working towards promoting voter education and electoral participation in the region.
The Collector Malkangiri Sri.Vishal Singh praised the sub-collector for the tireless work in educating citizens about the electoral process and encouraging them to exercise their right to vote. He also acknowledged the sub-collector’s efforts in creating a conducive environment for voter participation, which resulted in a high voter turnout in the region.
