There have been complaints regarding metre tampering as well as illegal power connections. Some miscreants are collecting money representing company people. TPNODL has taken stringent measures to check such practices. If the theft in power services could be minimised then it would result in reduced losses and consumers will later get the benefit. The consumers have been advised to only pay the stipulated amount for the services. It has sought cooperation from everyone to create a corruption-free and theft-free institution.
