Jajpur ,Nov 22 : Two persons died and six sustained serious injuries after an unidentified vehicle collided with an auto rickshaw, in which they were travelling, at Panikoili Chhack on the National Highway no- 16 under Panikoili police station in Jajpur district in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Both the deceased were identified as Puja Sahoo (20) and Sibananda Mohapatra (11 ) of Sahapada village in Bhadrak district. Two families of Sahapada were going to Puri when the accident happened. Both the victims died on the spot. Police seized the bodies and sent them to the district headquarter hospital at Jajpur for autopsy . We are investigating the case , said the IIC of Panikoili police station, Lizarani Biswal.
