Vande Bharat train operators spot stones, rods on track, hit emergency brakes

Udaipur,Octo 2 : Vigilant locomotive pilots of the Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express on Monday helped avert a disaster after noticing stones and other obstructions on the tracks.
The locomotive pilots applied emergency brakes.
A video, widely shared on social media, shows stones and two one-foot rods placed in the joggle plate of the track in the Gangarar-Soniyana section.
The incident occurred around 9:55 am and is being investigated by the Railway Police and the local cops.
The Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express, which runs six days a week except for Tuesdays, departs from Udaipur city at 7:50 am and reaches Jaipur at 14:05 pm.
